About OpenAid

Free guides, templates, and AI help for nonprofit and NGO teams.

OpenAid puts practical know-how within reach of every nonprofit and NGO, whatever its size.

Good proposals, sound grant management, and safe AI use shouldn't depend on the size of your budget or your back office.

Who OpenAid is for

  • Small and locally led organizations

Nonprofits and NGOs that are stretched thin. Often a first grant, with no inherited playbook for proposals, compliance, or policies.

  • Program, grants, and finance staff

People who write the bid, manage the award, or close the books, usually alongside another job.

  • Country and regional teams

Running several funding streams with thin central support.

  • Community nonprofits in the US and elsewhere

Small teams that need clear, plain-language guidance they can adapt without hiring a consultant.

Why OpenAid

Practical and Plain

Guides, templates, and worked examples for the everyday work of running a nonprofit or NGO: writing bids, managing awards, budgeting, safeguarding, and partnerships. Grounded in how the work is actually done, not academic theory.

Process Transparency

Every page is checked against its sources and reviewed by a person before it is published. The editorial standards say how AI is used and how pages are checked. No black boxes, no unexplained results.

OpenAid is a free hub of practical guides, templates, and AI help for nonprofit and NGO teams, from small community groups to international organizations. The name is simple: open means free to use, and aid means help for the people who do this work. It is run by Logic Lab LLC, and it is a hub only: nothing on it is for sale.

How we use AI: pages are written from primary sources and sector standards, then checked against them before they are published. AI helps draft, and people review every page. Templates are starting points, so adapt them to your organization and seek advice where the stakes are high.

OpenAid will never sell anything, run advertising, name funders, or ask you to sign up to read.
