Start With One Organizational Question

Name the decision and the accountable role before opening a guide. Examples include: "Which reference can help us review a child-safeguarding policy?" or "What questions should finance leadership resolve before revising cost recovery?"

The publisher pages below were read on October 26, 2026. General guidance does not determine an organization's legal, accounting, employment, safeguarding, data-protection or security obligations.

Fictional Example

The fictional Riverbend Relief Network is revising its child-safeguarding policy. The operations lead selects the Keeping Children Safe page and records its four areas: policy, people, procedures and accountability. The note does not say the organization meets the standards. It identifies missing evidence about recruitment checks, partner requirements and reporting routes. The safeguarding lead must confirm the current local reporting procedure and review any real concern through that procedure, not through the planning note.

Limits and Handoffs

  • This page is not legal, accounting, employment, safeguarding, privacy or security advice.
  • A reference cannot establish compliance or replace the organization's authority and records.
  • Immediate safeguarding or safety concerns go to established reporting or emergency procedures.
  • Check the exact document's current version, access and reuse terms before adapting material.

What Changed in This Draft

Version 0.4 replaces the old catalog with an organizational-question note and a fictional safeguarding-policy example. It removes the dedicated evaluation collection and does not present general references as legal, accounting, safety or compliance determinations.
